Apartments in downtown up dramatically since the 2010 recession

Coors Field is now surrounded by luxury apartments units where rents go for around $2,000 per month. Downtown Denver has a walkscore of 91 and you can get anywhere within the 1-2 mile radius by walking or using the free public transportation. The most well known is the 16th street mall bus that picks up every few minutes.

The nightlife in Denver is marginal with many bars scattered throughout. LoDo is the most popular place to go out at night with bars and dancing venues scattered throughout Blake and Market Street.

Located one mile above sea-level and nicknamed the "Mile High City:", it is home to the largest city park system in the nation; with over 200 parks and an additional 14,000 acres of spectacular mountain parks. In Denver, you can get to dozens of attractions on foot, thanks to 850 miles of off-road paved trails. Denver also has several pedestrian malls, including the famed 16th Street Mall, that allow citizens the opportunity to take in all of the cities sites on foot. 

There are also a variety of neighborhoods within walking distance of downtown Denver including Rhino, Five Points, City Park and Union Station. You will have plenty of apartments to choose from if you are looking into the downtown denver area but you will pay extra in both money and parking. Downtown does not have the best parking options but most renters either uber or bike to where they need to go.
