RentWiki Launches in Private Beta

April 2, 2008 – 12:14 pm

RentWiki.com has launched in private beta and it looks like it has some legs. It is funded by Minneapolis-based private equity firm, Petters Group Worldwide, and board of directors include Mike Mueller (CEO of Vaultware) and Mary Jeffries (President of Petters Group).

The service will allow people to do reviews on neighborhoods and apartments, offer advice on where to live and not to live, and offer a better way to find a place.

In true Wiki style, anyone would be able to write a review and anyone would be able to edit that review. One question I have is, if there is a bad review written about an apartment, will that apartment be able to delete or edit that review.
