Renters, Do they Use the Internet?

- According to an NMHC (National Multi Housing Council) study, 66% of renters have Internet service in their rental.*
- 75% of renters with Internet service say they use their home Internet connection seven days a week.*
- The number of people viewing current rental availability online increased 95% from 2005 to 2006.**
- 90% of people researching rental information use the Internet as a resource vs. 51% percent for print guides. ***

We have a web site for rentals, and we get a LOT of attention on it. We live in a small town, but since it is only an hour+ drive to the Phoenix area it is a popular place. We get emails from people all over the US looking for rentals who found us on the internet.
So, do they use the internet? Absolutely!

Renters DO use the Internet quiet often. Most of my referrals come from those finding me on the Internet. And Sherry, Renters COULD very well pull us all of this slump! We offer Rent to Ownership to service those that ordinarily would not qualify for a loan because of low credit scores….

As the owner of RentBlurb.com, a site advertising houses for rent in Orlando FL and the surrounding area, I can confirm that in fact, Renters search online for homes for rent in Orlando and I would imagine other locations in Florida and the United States.
