I wish the single family home market had a Lisa Trosien to help educate property managers of single family homes on the best way to market and lease out their properties. A lot of the marketing techniques that apartments do can carry over to the single family market as well. Food for thought.

I started my pm career 40 years ago as an on-site resident manager and rose into office management and then fee-management for SFRs….multi unit management taught me there is a “calendar” or season to property management activities; that it is important to prioritize repairs and capital improvements; that homes can be rented from brochures/websites and that retaining residents is important.
