February 2, 2009 – 5:11 pmApartments.com has acquired Apartment Home Living, a social media apartment website for apartment searchers for an undisclosed amount.
Apartment Home Living has been seeing some good traffic increase over the past couple of months:Last year, Apartment Home Living signed an exclusive deal to have Apartments.com power their search results.

Agreed. I think it is sign of things to come. Most will want to test a more organic, SM user acquisition strategy.

Just a quick update on the acquisition - ApartmentHomeLiving has been able to leverage the assets of Apartments.com to nearly double its traffic in just 3 months post acquisition. As Robbie said above I think there should be more to come.
