No Online Marketing? What’s the Main Reason?
November 10, 2007 – 2:52 pmOpus Research did an all business survey that asked marketers that were not advertising online why they are not. Below are the percentages. A total of 627 were surveyed.
Lack of Budget - 25%
Confusion. Don’t know how or where to begin - 20%
The internet is not relevant to our business - 18%
Lack of time or personnel to do it - 15%
Have all the business we need - 12%
Skeptical that it is effective - 10%
There is still a large percentage of the marketers that are not advertising online. It varies by vertical but in the real estate market, the above percentages are about right. For the property management community however, I think the confusion and lack of time would be greater percentage of not marketing online.
