Google OS Android will change Real Estate Search
May 30, 2008 – 4:07 pmThe Google operating system for phones (Android) will change the way we search for real estate. Developers are already building some incredible applications for Android and below is one for street view on your phone.
Google announced the top 50 applications for Android and there are some amazing things being built. 50 teams of developers each received a $25,000 award and the opportunity to compete in the second and final round of ADC I, for ten $275,000 prizes and ten $100,000 prizes.
Below are the top 25 applications so far:
- Beetaun - Social network around geographical content created by the people and for the people
- BioWallet - Biometric authentication system currently supporting iris based authentication
- BreadCrumbz - A different kind of navigation application
- City Slikkers - Pervasive game which takes place in the real existing city.
- Commandro - Location based Social networking utlity
- Cooking Capsules - Resources for quick dinner ideas, party tips, or elegant snacks at your finger tips
- Diggin - A new and exciting way to explore, manage & personalize your music collection.
- Dyno - Evaluate automobile performance on the road
- E‐ventr - Personal mobile event manager and friendship finder
- Eco2Go - Track & reduce your carbon footprint. Share ideas on sustainable living with friends from around the world!
- Em‐Radar - Alerts you about emergencies and severe weather conditions
- Fingerprint - Fingerprint is a collaborative pain5ng applica5on. Draw by yourself, or together with friends

- goCart - The perfect marriage of online shopping and window shopping.

That is pretty cool demo. Not sure what the use is, but it is cool.
