MyNewPlace Houses for Rent Pricing
April 7, 2008 – 1:43 pmI am very late to the game on this one but MyNewPlace now offers more flexible pricing for those looking to rent out their single family homes.
MyNewPlace is known in the apartment advertising community as offering a pay per lease program. In the single family home market the pay per lease does not work nearly as well and MyNewPlace has rolled out a pricing model that better fits the needs of Owners and Property Managers of the single family home rental market.
MyNewPlace offers a tiered pricing structure for property managers of single family houses, condos or townhouses:
- 1-25 Listings - flat fee of $199 per month.
- 26-50 Listings - flat fee of $299 per month.
- 51-100 Listings - flat fee of $399 per month.
- 101-250 Listings - flat fee of $499 per month.
Flat fee advertising per unit is also available for $19.99 per unit per month.
I read somewhere that about 20% of all traffic that goes to sites like MyNewPlace, Rent.com, ForRent.com, etc are those looking for single family homes. Rent.com is also getting into the single family home rental market and should be launching their new enhanced self-service platform shortly.

I did not know that either. Interesting they are using that approach.

The site had 5 of my OLD/INACTIVE property listings which they received from HomeRentals.net….I advised them and they indicated that almost all of their content were not active listings because of an internal SNAFU with their site….GA-AA-LE-LEE
Luckily, I’m not paying ANY MORE MONEY for this….let them de-bugg FIRST

Dan, Thanks for the blog post regarding MyNewPlace. We are increasing our presence in the single family home market. Next week we will be launching a home-specific homepage for renters to find their next home to rent.

Matt,
Looks like most of the properties listed are from “homerentals.net” At least in my market.
Have you gotten any feedback from P.M.’s with mynewplace being intergrated with a large database of “apartments” on the website?
