If your lease agreement does not have anything about late fees, your landlord cannot impose one. However, some states allow landlords to refuse late rent and begin eviction even if the rent is one day late. Check with your local laws to see if your state is one of them.

An oral lease agreement is an agreement between you and the landlord that is done verbally. Although not recommended, oral agreements are perfectly legal. They are more common in month to month agreements but in some states are legal for leases up to 1 year.

The Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) announced that Internet advertising revenues exceeded $5.2 billion for the third quarter of 2007, representing yet another historic high for a quarter and a $1.1 billion increase, or 25.3 percent, over Q3 2006. This is expected to reach $42 billion by 2011.
